Bridging Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy: commonalities, concerns and shared issues. Developing synergies to enhance children’s experiences of PE and sport.

This event is designed to bridge existing gaps in collaborative understanding of how Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy can be symbiotically aligned to enhance children’s experiences within the related fields of PE and sport.

The experiences will be used to promote better understanding as well as networking opportunities and lead to collaborative opportunities across a range of research and enterprise activities.

The findings of the conference will be utilised by a working group that will produce of a position statement articulating the current status of PE and Sport pedagogy as an interdependent field of practice that seeks to enhance the experiences of children and young people in PE and sport.
