New series of the BERA podcast

This autumn we have launched a new series of the BERA podcast. Over the next few weeks we will continue to feature emerging research which connects to policy and practice.

Already we have published episodes looking at the ethnic minority degree gap in HE with Ratha Perumal, Adam Peter Lang on the way the Prevent programme has been applied in schools, Joanne Hughes and Rebecca Loader discussing their work on shared education in Northern Ireland and other divided societies and our president Dominic Wyse in conversation with Neil Mercer, this year’s recipient of the John Nisbet Fellowship.

Future episodes will include discussing childrens’ play, primary schools’ responses to the Covid pandemic, neurodiversity in the classroom, the manifesto on sustainability recently published by our research commission on sustainability and the state of the discipline project.

Podcasts are released weekly on a Wednesday and are available to download or subscribe from all your usual podcast providers or available via our website
