Leanne Henderson, Dr

Leanne Henderson is a Lecturer in Education Studies at Queen’s University Belfast’s School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work. She teaches on the PGCE and IPGCE programmes. Her research centres on young people’s educational experiences and focuses particularly on their educational trajectories and transitions. For three years she was a postdoctoral Research Fellow on the AHRC Modern Languages Leadership Fellowship Language Policy project where her research engaged with young people to understand the factors influencing uptake of modern languages qualifications in the UK context. She has experience as a French teacher and Head of Modern Languages at post-primary level.
