Nicola Marlow, Mrs

Lecturer in Education at Ulster University

Nicola is the regional rep for Northern Ireland. Nicola is a lecturer in Education and course director of the PGCE English with Drama and Media Studies programme at Ulster University. Her research interests include writing pedagogy and how curriculum design and policy have led to particular teaching styles and pedagogical choices when writing is taught in the post primary English classroom. She is currently an early career stage researcher and has recently completed her PHD studies on teacher beliefs and writing pedagogy. She has been involved in SCoTENS research projects that examined creative teaching as well as poetry pedagogy within cross border contexts.
