Weipeng Yang, Dr

Associate Professor at The Education University of Hong Kong

Weipeng Yang, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in early childhood education and a recipient of the President’s Outstanding Performance in Research Award at The Education University of Hong Kong. As one of the world's top 2% most-cited scientists and the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Research in Childhood Education, his research on young children's computational thinking has been funded by Hong Kong's Research Grants Council and has shaped early learning experiences in the 21st century. He serves as a Triage Editor for the British Journal of Educational Technology, a Co-Convenor of the Curriculum, Assessment and Pedagogy (CAP) Special Interest Group at the British Educational Research Association (BERA), and a Steering Group Member of the British Curriculum Forum (BCF). Additionally, he is on the Editorial Boards of the Curriculum Journal, Early Childhood Research Quarterly, Journal for the Study of Education and Development, AI, Brain and Child, and SN Social Sciences.
