Person
Sarah K Anderson is the Research and Teaching Group Leader for Pedagogies, Praxis & Faith at the University of Glasgow, Scotland. Sarah has responsibility for and strategic oversight of initial teacher education for the School of Education and works with the Scottish Council of Deans for Education. Sarah has a PhD in Teacher Education with a cognate in Educational Leadership in addition to a master’s degree in special education and an undergraduate degree in teaching secondary level social sciences; Sarah is a Fulbright Scholar to Norway (2011-2012). Her research interests include teacher evaluation for continual improvement, response to intervention, high-impact instructional strategies, accreditation and quality assurance mechanisms, and comparative teacher education. Before accepting a full-time position in teacher education, Sarah was a high school teacher who worked with students with emotional disorders, learning disabilities and health impairments and taught English.
