Samuel Amponsah

Senior Lecturer at University of Ghana

Samuel Amponsah is a senior lecturer and heads the Distance Education Department of the University of Ghana. Prior to joining the University of Ghana, Samuel lectured and headed the Farming Management Department of Esayidi TVET College in South Africa. He is a fellow of the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) and is currently on a postdoctoral fellowship with the American University in Cairo. He has served as a Co-PI for a GCRF-funded project. Amponsah is a Co-PI for the prestigious British Council THEMIS Project which ends in November 2022. Since obtaining his doctoral degree from the University of South Africa, Samuel has attended various academic conferences and published widely in the areas of Adult Learning and Open Distance Learning.
