Convenor
Mabel is an experienced educator with a strong commitment and passion for equality, diversity, and social inclusion. She is a Senior Lecturer in Education at London Metropolitan University. Her current research topic is Creative Strategies in Early Years Learning. One the strands of her project has been coproduced with Musiko Musika, an artist-led music education and cultural organisation that works with early years settings, schools and communities. Mabel is the convenor of the Socio-cultural and Cultural-historical Activity Theory SIG in BERA. and she has been co-facilitating Academic Writing Retreats since 2021.
