Senior Lecturer in Education at London Metropolitan University
Mabel has been a BERA member for over 15 years. She is an Emeritus Fellow in Education at London Metropolitan University. Mabel has a strong commitment and passion for equality, diversity, and social inclusion and her research focuses on creative strategies for learning and teaching. She has engaged in co-research in health and sustainability with a STEAM approach. Mabel was a SIG convenor for the Sociocultural and Cultural Historical Activity Theory for several years since 2011, and has been a BERA Council member since 2023.
