Denise McKeown is from Belfast and is currently teaching chemistry in Hong Kong. She taught in the UK and Mexico before undertaking a master’s degree in leadership for sustainable development. She combined this with living and working at a rural sustainability education centre in Costa Rica. Denise continues her research and practice in sustainability education as the chair of the sustainability curriculum group in ESF, a consortium of 22 schools in Hong Kong, and in her work as the sustainability curriculum lead in her school. She is passionate about sharing her enthusiasm for scientific knowledge, education and sustainability.
