Anastasia Misirli, Dr

Lecturer at University of Patras

Dr Anastasia Misirli is a lecturer in Early Childhood Education and Digital Technologies at the University of Patras, Greece, and an Honorary Visiting Research Fellow at the University of East London, England. Anastasia is an experienced researcher involved in many European (Horizon, FP7, Erasmus+) and national research projects and a teacher educator. Her research interests lie in digital technologies with an emphasis on robotics in teaching and learning (technology enhanced learning); design-based research; universal design for learning and professional development for early childhood educators in digital technologies; and playful learning. Previously an expert for the Institute of Education Policy (IEP) on the early years curriculum, Anastasia is currently co-editor of the Frontiers in Psychology special issue ‘Coding, Computational Thinking, Robotics, and ICT in Early Childhood: Education, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation’.
