Amélie Lemieux, Dr

Assistant Professor at Mount Saint Vincent University

Amélie Lemieux’s is assistant professor in the Faculty of Education at Mount Saint Vincent University. Her research interests include maker education and cross-disciplinary literacies informed by posthumanist perspectives. A Lieutenant-Governor’s Medal Recipient (Quebec) for academic excellence and community engagement, she received SSHRC and FRQSC funding for her combined work in makerspace research, multimodality, arts-informed research and literacies with children, adolescents and teachers. She is the author of two books, De/constructing Literacies: Considerations for Engagement (Peter Lang, 2020), and Mapping Holistic Learning (Peter Lang, 2017) with Dr Boyd White (McGill University).
