Emirates Old Trafford is a cricket ground in Old Trafford, Greater Manchester, England. It opened in 1857 as the home of Manchester Cricket Club and has been the home of Lancashire County Cricket Club since 1864. 

Bringing the glamour to the conference, this is a ‘must attend’ part of the conference to be remembered. We will be celebrating in style for BERA’s 50th anniversary. Be prepared to dress up with your dancing shoes.

We also have a quiet area to drink your coffee, if you want to continue conversations with friends and colleagues when the entertainment starts.

This will be an exciting evening for ECRs to meet new and old colleagues and network. There will be food and drink and games to maximise connections.

BERA/WERA Welcome Reception 18.30 – 20.00
Price: Free for all registered delegates
Venue: University of Manchester

An informal evening reception is open to all delegates at no extra cost. Delegates are invited to the Welcome Reception whilst enjoying wine (soft drinks are available) and a light bite.

This will be an excellent opportunity to network and mingle with exhibitors, meet old friends and colleagues, and to make new ones.

The Welcome Reception is included in the full registration fees. Additional tickets for guests can be purchased at the time of registration.
