Information for poster presenters

ePosters

Your ePoster will be displayed in the electronic poster gallery online and on the mobile app.

There will also be display screens at the conference displaying the electronic poster gallery. 

You do NOT need to bring a physical copy of your poster.

You will have a 5 minute presentation of your poster in the session. The 5 minutes does not include Q&A and will be at the end of the session.

ePosters should be on one PowerPoint Slide (widescreen format) or PDF only (landscape only).

For BERA only:
There will be a prize for ePoster presentations. All ePosters will be judged by a member of the BERA Committees. The best ePoster will receive complimentary attendance at the BERA Annual Conference 2025.

For WERA only:
At each Focal Meeting of the World Education Research Association, awards are given for the best poster presentations. Posters are judged by members of the WERA Poster Award Evaluation Committee. Consideration is given to the global scope of the presented research, scientific rigour, contribution to the field, appropriateness of the methodological approach, transparency of presented results, and overall poster design.  The award winners will be announced at the Closing ceremony. The best WERA poster will receive complimentary attendance at the 2025 WERA Focal Meeting.

For BERA only: Physical Posters

Posters will be displayed during the duration of the conference in The Drum, where catering and exhibition is held. 

Physical posters should be no larger than A0 size and landscape only.

  • All posters should be prepared in advance and brought to the conference by the presenters. We are not able to receive any posters in advance
  • There will no facilities on-site for printing or composing posters
  • Each poster should be no larger than A0 paper size. This should be landscape only
  • You will be provided with materials to mount your poster

You will also deliver a 5-minute presentation of your poster during one of the sessions.

There will be a prize for best physical poster. You will need to be available by your poster for the judges on the following date and time:

Monday 9 September 2024
12.00 – 12.45 AND 17.00 – 17.30

The best poster will have a rosette displayed on the poster on the Monday evening to highlight their poster as well as receiving complimentary attendance at the BERA Conference 2025.
