Nashwa Ismail, Dr

Lecturer at University of Liverpool

Dr Nashwa Ismail has an MSc and a PhD in Digital Education from the University of Southampton, and she is a Fellow (FHEA) at Advance HE. Her current role is as a lecturer in the Centre for Professional Development (CEDS) at the University of Liverpool, where she serves as a digital advisor across the university. In her research, she has undertaken various roles in Technology-Enhanced Learning (TEL)-related projects abroad, primarily focusing on Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Games-Based Learning (GBL). Her research projects have spanned countries including Egypt, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Myanmar, Saudi Arabia), Thailand and the United States. Additionally, she is a member of BERA’s Education Technology special interest group.
