Tracey Martin-Millward

Tracey Martin-Millward is a lecturer in education and an associate researcher in the School of Education at Oxford Brookes University. Tracey has 25 years’ experience as an educator, having begun her professional career as a secondary science teacher, specialising in chemistry, before moving to a local authority role to deliver national teacher continuing professional development programmes and lead science curriculum innovations across primary and secondary schools. More recently, she worked as a teacher-educator in higher education institutions before completing her doctorate in 2020. Her primary research interests include learning within out-of-classroom contexts, in particular Forest School; science education; and the nature of learning dialogue.
