Roslinawati Mohd Roslan, Dr

Assistant Professor in Science Education at Universiti Brunei Darussalam

Dr Roslinawati Mohd Roslan is an assistant professor in Science Education at Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Education, Universiti Brunei Darussalam. She graduated with a PhD in Education from the University of Queensland, Australia. Her research interests include the role of language in science education, Islam and science education, dialogic teaching, discourse analysis, primary science education & STEM Education. She has been teaching in the higher education sector since 2004 and currently serves as a Deputy Dean Academic. She is teaching various modules for Master of Teaching students, such as Assessment for Learning, Language and Teaching, Educational Research Methodology, and Science Education for Primary Schools. She is the recipient of the Teaching Excellence Award 2021 (Education) and has just won a £10,000 award as part of the UK-Brunei Higher Education Teaching and Learning Partnership Programme, administered by the British Council. The purpose of the grant is to develop a transnational education (TNE) programme to enhance the teaching of STEM in primary school classrooms in Brunei.
