I am a PhD student at the Open University and a lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University London. My PhD research looks at how infants and young children encounter gender in Early Childhood Education and (ECE) settings in England. I have a professional background in ECE which began in 2009. I am also interested in children's rights, particularly rights-based approaches to ECE practice and research.
