BERA Council
Dr. Richard Race is Senior Lecturer in Education at Teesside University. He is Visiting Professor in Education at Plymouth Marjon University in England and Sapienza University in Italy. He is author of the third edition of Multiculturalism and Education (Open University Press, 2024) and the edited collection Evolving Dialogues in Multiculturalism and Multicultural Education (Open University, 2024). Richard advocates the opportunities and challenges of multicultural education, anti-racism and decolonising pedagogy and curriculum on which he has published recently within the London Review of Education and Equity in Education and Society.
