BERA Council
Dr. Richard Race is Senior Lecturer in Education within the School of Education at Roehampton University. His most recent monograph, Multiculturalism and Education was published by Bloomsbury in 2015. Richard has also edited Advancing Multicultural Dialogues in Education (2018, Palgrave Macmillan). He has co-edited Advancing Race and Ethnicity in Education with Professor Vini Lander (2016, Palgrave Macmillan). He is currently working on his next monograph, Integration and Education Policy Making (contracted with Palgrave Macmillan). He has recently published ‘Promoting and Advancing Multicultural Dialogues in Education‘ (Dialogue Society Journal, September 2019 – see http://www.dialoguesociety.org/articles/1200-promoting-and-advancing-multicultural-dialogues-in-education.html) and he is also publishing ‘Integration and Decolonising the Curriculum‘ in a forthcoming edition of the British Education Research Association’s Newsletter, Research Intelligence
Richard was elected to BERA Council in 2016 and re-elected in 2019. He sits on BERA’s Conference & Events Committee.
