Nadia Talukder, Mrs

Doctoral student at University of Oxford

Nadia Talukder was a primary school teacher and leader for 19 years before becoming a higher education (HE) practitioner and senior lecturer in Partnerships and Professional Studies in Primary initial teacher education (ITE). This is where she developed an understanding of the HE Ethnicity Awarding Gap. It led to a DPhil in Education at the University of Oxford, where she is investigating how Muslim student-teachers experience ITE in England. Nadia is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (now Advance HE) and is currently a Visiting Lecturer in Education Studies and PITE at Birmingham Newman University.
