Nadia Talukder is a doctoral student at the University of Oxford and Senior Lecturer in Primary Initial Teacher Education at Birmingham Newman University.
Nadia’s doctoral research relates to the HE Awards Gap; She is conducting an intersectional analysis of the significance and impact of social inclusion practices designed to facilitate the success of Global Majority Muslim females in Primary Initial Teacher Training Education in England.
Nadia has 19 years of experiences as a Primary School teacher and leader. Within this role she has led on Maths Mastery and pioneering Modern Foreign Languages in KS1 and in KS2. Nadia has taught as a Senior Lecturer in Initial Teacher Education and is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
