Dr Louise Webber is a lecturer in early childhood studies at the University of Plymouth. Her doctorate focussed on mature women’s experiences of changes to their identity and family life as a result of their higher education studies. Her current interests include undergraduate and doctoral research and children’s experiences of mothers who study. She is currently involved in a longitudinal project focussing on foundation year students’ perceptions and experiences of their four-year degree.
