Katherine Gulliver is currently a PhD student at the Plymouth Institute of Education, University of Plymouth. Her PhD focusses on participatory research methods, special educational needs and/disabilities and inclusion. Before this, Katherine completed an MA in special and inclusive education on the Erasmus Mundus programme, in Norway, the UK and the Czech Republic, which examined parental perceptions of social inclusion. Katherine has worked on various research projects that involve systematic database searches, thematic analysis and a range of research methodologies. This includes a three-stage project for the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years to establish an understanding of childminder sustainability in England and Wales.
