Karen Zecca is a Professional Doctorate of Education student at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Focusing on enhancing disability and sport education, her research interests predominantly revolve around disability, sport and education, with a specific concentration on physical disability, physical education and the cultivation of teacher confidence. A crucial element of her doctoral study entails the formulation and implementation of a comprehensive framework aimed at bolstering such confidence in readiness for professional practice. As for her research direction, Karen’s research is fuelled by a passionate commitment to promoting inclusivity within education.
