Emily Oxley, Dr

Research Associate at National Institute of Teaching

Dr Emily Oxley is a Research Fellow in Evidence Synthesis at the National Institute of Teaching, specialising in initial teacher education and professional development. A former teacher of French and German, she completed her PhD at the University of Leeds in 2019, specialising in vocabulary acquisition for bilingual children. Since then, she has held post-PhD positions at the Universities of Leeds, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Her broad research interests are language education, literacy and reading.
