Dr Dimi Kaneva is a Senior Lecturer in Childhood Studies at the School of Education and Professional Development, University of Huddersfield, UK. Dimi previously lectured in early childhood studies and has also worked on research projects exploring student voice and participation in schooling in challenging circumstances. Dimi’s research interests are in the field of English as an additional language (EAL), early years and childhood studies, with a particular focus on children’s experiences, voice and agency.
