Lecturer in Education at University of Wolverhampton

David is a Lecturer in Education focusing on Early Childhood at the University of Northampton. Prior to this role David was a Research Assistant at the University of Wolverhampton and has experience of working with several NGOs and as a primary school teacher. He has worked in Malawi and Ireland and travelled extensively in Africa and Asia. He has an MA in Early Childhood and an MA in International Development. Prior to the COVID-19 Pandemic, David ran a weekly Father’s group. David is interested in the different perspectives of childhood, the early childhood workforce and early childhood provision. His research profile ranges from small scale studies looking at the student experience of Early Childhood Studies to supporting colleagues on larger projects.
