Darcy Bornemann is Lecturer at Hartpury University, and a fellow of the Advance HE. In her role as HE Process Advisor she liaises between academic departments and professional services. She also leads on training for good academic practice, develops regulations to support academic integrity, and contributes to other quality assurance processes. Her research focus is human motivation, consumption, and includes communication and persuasion. She teaches research methods and human–animal relationships focusing on principles of human-behaviour change and using the concept of context to develop critical thinking and reflection, as well as teaching.
