Clare McAuley is PGCE Lecturer (History) at Ulster University. Her research interests include the role of education in promoting social cohesion; teaching history in contested societies; citizenship education; teaching controversial and sensitive issues and curriculum policy and practice. Clare is a former teacher of history and citizenship education.
