Programme Officer at The National Gallery

Catherine runs the National Gallery’s Take One Picture programme, including an annual series of CPD sessions for teachers and exhibition of children’s projects. Take One Picture is the Gallery’s national programme for primary schools, which aims to inspire a lifelong love of art and learning. Before joining the Gallery, Catherine managed an education centre for children requiring additional academic support, and oversaw regional rounds of a national young writers’ awards, working with teachers to use creative projects in the classroom. Catherine holds a Master’s degree in Classical Art and Archaeology from the University of Oxford. During her studies she volunteered with the Ashmolean Museum’s Family and Schools programme, and worked as an academic coach and mentor for a charity raising young people’s educational aspirations.
