Antonios Ktenidis, Dr

Lecturer in Special Educational Needs, Disability and Inclusion at Leeds Beckett University

Dr Antonios Ktenidis is a Lecturer in Special Educational Needs, Disability and Inclusion at the Carnegie School of Education, Leeds Beckett University. He currently teaches across different undergraduate courses -BA in Childhood Studies and BA in Primary Education (Accelerated Degree)-and he will be teaching on the BA in Special Educational Needs, Disability and Inclusion, starting in September. He also supervises MA dissertations, focusing on topics related to Inclusive Education.

Antonios completed his ESRC-funded PhD at the School of Education, University of Sheffield, which examined the schooling experiences of young people with Restricted Growth (or dwarfism) in secondary schools in the United Kingdom. His research interests include Critical Disability Studies in Education, Inclusive Education, Social In/Justice in Education, Disabled Children’s Childhood Studies and Qualitative Methodologies.
