Emre Unlu, Professor

Senior Lecturer at Edge Hill University

Emre Unlu has been a senior lecturer in Business Economics at Edge Hill University since 2015. He completed his PhD in Economics at Louisiana State University in 2012. He worked as a Lecturer of Economics at Queen’s University Belfast before joining Edge Hill in 2015. His research interests are in game theory, theoretical foundations of the formation of social networks, applied microeconomics, and decision-making processes and education. He recently published a paper about efficient networks in heterogeneity models in The Manchester School journal and has several working papers on the research evaluation and the determinants of the quality of research environment scores in REF. He has completed reviewing activities for the Mathematical Social Sciences and Theory and Decision journals. He is a member of the American Economic Association, Game Theory Society and European Economic Association.
