Assistant Professor in Science Education at Universiti Brunei Darussalam

Dr Hardimah Mohd Said is an assistant professor in Science Education at Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Education, Universiti Brunei Darussalam. She graduated with a PhD in Science Education from the University of Melbourne, Australia. Her expertise lies in secondary science education, physics education, curriculum development in science education, science teachers and their practices, and thematic studies in science education. Her current research focuses on teachers’ professional and personal development and identity formation through the dynamics of their social interactions during teacher training and school/classroom teaching. She is interested in supervising students in the areas of students’ learning and teachers’ teaching in science classrooms, teaching approaches in science education, and teachers’ professional and personal development.
