Simeon Bates is an accomplished and experienced educationalist with a growing academic profile. A secondary and P16 music specialist, he gained extensive experience working in a number of school-wide and senior roles when Head of Department, Programme Leader for School Centred Initial Teacher Training and Specialist Leader of Multilingual Education. He also brings invaluable and insightful experience working outside of the classroom as Curriculum, Learning & Progression Lead for HMPPS Prison Education Review and Visiting Assessor for Coventry University’s National Institute of Teaching and Education. Now working at an inner-city music specialist school, Simeon is able to draw upon his academic, leadership, broad professional experience and coaching skills to develop curriculum, teaching and learning.
