I am a Senior lecturer in Education Studies, Award Leader, International Development and Education, School of Education and Co-Chair of Global Inclusive Network, Bath Spa University.
I am writing my PhD corrections. The thesis was submitted in the Department of Education, University of Bath, Bath. I hold a MA degree in Educational and International Development from UCL Institute of Education, London. My PhD focuses on- Gendered Capabilities of female pupils in two primary schools in Northern India.

My ethnographic-case study explores gender inequalities in two fifth grade North Indian Primary Schools using the following theoretical and methodological underpinnings:
● Amartya Sen’s Capability approach
● Bernstein’s classification and framing, to identify the teachers’ pedagogic practices within the classroom setting
● Feminist theory, analysis gendered aspect of the implicit curriculum.
