Tracy Edwards, Dr

Lecturer at Leeds Beckett University

Tracy is a Lecturer in Special Educational Needs, Inclusive Pedagogies and Digital Pedagogies at Leeds Beckett University. After initially training as a History Teacher, she spent twenty years working in two highly successful Inner London Schools: a mainstream secondary, and an all-age specialist setting. In these two schools, Tracy served in a variety of roles including Head of Humanities, Leader for Key Stage Three and Assistant Head with responsibility for Curriculum and Assessment.

Tracy holds an MA in Gender, Education and International Development from UCL. She completed her PhD, at the University of Aberdeen in 2023, with a thesis titled 'Conceptions of the Inclusive Teacher and Associated Dilemmas'. Currently, she is researching the ethical dilemmas of those leading inclusion and/or well being in international schools.
