Paola Sarmiento is a second-year PhD student in the School of Education at the University of Bristol, United Kingdom and a member of the Centre for Comparative and International Research in Education. Additionally, she holds a Master of Arts in Educational Studies from the University of British Columbia, Canada. Paola’s research focuses on intercultural and rural education in Peru, as well as issues related to social justice in education.
