Nika Maglaperidze is a research assistant and first-year PhD student at Maynooth University in Ireland, researching teacher education and curriculum making. He gained his Master’s in Education and International Development from the UCL Institute of Education. His experience in the field of education spans across various countries, including research contributions in Georgia and the development of teacher professional standards in Bulgaria. He has collaborated with the Ministry of Education in Georgia as a curriculum counsellor during national curriculum reforms. His background encompasses teaching English as a Second Language and coordinating curriculum. Nika is an active member of several professional organisations, such as BERA, the World Association of Lesson Studies, and the Education Studies Association of Ireland.
