Marnie is a Senior Lecturer and Senior Fellow in Knowledge Exchange at the University of Winchester.

Marnie has a successful track record for attracting funding to provide CPD for teachers and school leaders. Most recently this includes securing contracts with two national providers for the DfE to deliver the Early Career Framework (ECF) and new iteration of the National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) for schools across the south coast. She has also recently worked with our University of Winchester Academy Trust lead school to successfully secure a large grant from Arts Council England to work with schools across our region to develop pedagogies for creativity.

Prior to working in higher education, Marnie worked as a Headteacher in two junior schools in Hampshire. She sits on the Board of Trustees for the University of Winchester’s Multi-Academy Trust schools and is also the Chair of Governors for a large Infant School in the New Forest.
