Dr Mark Leather is, with Dr Tracy Hayes, a Convenor of BERA’s Nature, Outdoor Learning and Play (NOLAP) special interest group (SIG).

He is senior lecturer and programme area lead for the MRes in outdoor education/outdoor learning and BA (Hons) in outdoor adventure education at the Institute of Education, Plymouth Marjon University, with a demonstrated history of successful working in higher education. Passionate about students and colleagues; helping them grow and develop their connections with themselves, other people and nature. Prefers outdoor and experiential approaches for authentic learning. Loves the sea, nature and learning from different people, countries and cultures.
