Lis Bundock is a principal lecturer in education at the School of Education, the University of Brighton. She has a strong interest in inequalities in education, in particular LGBTQ+ lives and race and ethnicity.

Lis is currently undertaking stage 2 of their EdD and the provisional title is 'The (im)possible context: The lived experiences of gender diverse teachers in UK mainstream schools'. She is also part of a joint University of Brighton and University of Surrey research team undertaking a research study that aims to investigate how university educators teach issues of race, ethnicity, culture and (in)equality with students on social science related degree programmes at UK Universities.
