Laura Gilbertson is an experienced teacher with more than 12 years of experience in Scotland’s early years sector. As a Co-ordinator for Early Years in South Ayrshire Council she supports the delivery of high-quality early learning and childcare, working with practitioners and senior leaders towards service improvement and improved outcomes for their youngest learners.
Laura is a doctoral student at the University of Strathclyde. Her work focuses on creative research methods to elicit voice and reflection. She is interested in early childhood education, exploring the teacher role as part of the early years workforce.
