Kayte Haselgrove has been teaching in Further Education since 2010. Since then she has worked as a teacher, course leader, Advanced Practitioner and Head of Department for English and Maths and then CPD, Learning and Teacher Training in Further Education. She is now a full time university lecturer and Assistant Programme Lead at the University of Derby, working with Post 14 trainee teachers and as a supervisor for students writing Masters dissertations. For the last six years she has worked for the Education and Training Foundation via various consultancy companies as a trainer, Action Research Mentor, training author and editor on a selection of programmes. She is an external examiner for the University of Buckingham and for Teesside University for a range of teacher training and Masters programmes. Finally, she is co editor of 'The Use of English' English Association journal, East Midlands Convenor for the Learning and Skills Network and SIG Convenor for BERA.
