Dr. Kathy Hibbert is Professor, and Acting Dean at Western’s Faculty of Education, in London Canada. Her research examines how our abilities to ‘read’ texts, and to use and understand multimedia or other technologies, shapes our ability to communicate and learn across contexts. She is also interested in the sociomateriality of practice, and how it influences and reifies working conditions and our collective capacity. She is Director of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Research in Curriculum as a Social Practice and Associate Dean of Teacher Education.
