Kate Mawson, Dr

Senior Teaching Fellow at University of Warwick

Dr Kate Mawson is Associate Professor at Warwick University; prior to moving to Warwick in 2014, Kate taught in secondary education for 14 years. Kate teaches on Warwick's postgraduate ITE programme, being module lead for Professional Enquiry as well as being a senior fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). In addition to being one of the co-convenors of the BERA ‘Higher Education’ Special Interest Group, Kate is on the editorial board of the IJIIE, is the student engagement co-ordinator for social sciences and has just completed her EdD in professional development of teaching focussed academics in HE with a particular interest in pedagogy and communities of practice.
