Karen is in her final year of studying for a PhD in Education at the University of Bath, UK. Her doctoral research aims to contribute a novel way of conceptualising students’ placements on Early Childhood Studies degrees as more-than-human assemblages, and to make a methodological contribution through its creative research practices that attune to affective flows, rhythms, and momentary intensities in learning events.
