Jiarui Xie is currently a doctoral student of Learning Technologies at the Ohio State University and a graduate research assistant at the Center on Education and Training for Employment, working with the Ohio Statewide Family Engagement Center. The topics of Xie’s studies include asynchronous online discussion, teacher online training, rural education, deep learning, problem-solving and learning analytics. Her current research interests include online teaching and learning, the use of AI in online education, instructional design, equity in education, collaborative learning and mixed research methods.
