Gregor Torkar is an associate professor at the Department of Biology, Chemistry, and Home Economics at the Faculty of Education of the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. His research field in general is biology and environmental education within the preschool, primary, secondary and tertiary level of education. He is chair of the Programme Committee within the Centre for School and Outdoor Education, Slovenia.
