George Clayton is a 24-year-old, first-year psychology and counselling undergraduate student at the University of Roehampton. Prior to starting his degree, George was in the process of training to be a commercial airline pilot. He put a pause on his training midway, upon completion of his private pilot’s licence qualification, over concerns of the effect of Covid-19 on the aviation industry. His dream is to continue that journey following the completion of his degree. George is an avid musician and currently works for the Wandsworth Music Academy, following on from a seven-year stint as principal trumpet in the Wandsworth Youth Philharmonic Orchestra.
