I am a Senior Lecturer in Early Childhood Studies, Centre for Learning, Teaching and Human Development, School of Education, Froebel College, University of Roehampton. I had worked in schools and further education in China and a nursery school in London before I joined the Early Childhood Research Centre at University of Roehampton in 2007. I have been teaching on BA Early Childhood Studies, MA Early Childhood Studies and CPD Froebel Professional Certificate course. I have been supervising PhD students as Director of Studies and Co-supervisor. My research interests include children's rights/participation, children's identities/spirituality and wellbeing, equity/inclusion and social justice in education and society, ethnographic research with children, education policy, and employability and sustainability in higher education.
