Eileen Winter, Dr

Director of Academic Programmes at Institute of Child Education and Psychology (ICEP) Europe

Dr Eileen Winter is a teacher and educational psychologist, and is currently the director of academic programmes with the Institute of Child Education and Psychology (ICEP) Europe. Prior to leaving Canada, Eileen developed and taught graduate and postgraduate courses in special needs and psychology in the Deptartment of Human Development and Applied Psychology at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. Before joining ICEP, she taught in the School of Education, Queen’s University, Belfast where she was key in developing their ethics protocol. Eileen has worked on several international research collaborations including: Project IRIS (Inclusive Research in Irish Schools); Face-Zine the Future (UK); and Collaborative Case Studies in Teacher Education (Canada). She has an extensive publication profile. Research interests include: teacher wellbeing; special needs; inclusion; research methods; e-learning; and ethics in research with children and vulnerable groups. Eileen is an experienced conference presenter, external examiner and doctoral supervisor.
