Godwin Ioratim-Uba, Dr

Dr Godwin Ioratim-Uba is an assistant professor in the School of Education and English at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC). Prior to joining UNNC in 2013, he taught at Manchester College, the University of Manchester, the University of Bolton and the University of Bradford. Prior to working in the UK, Godwin taught at the Department of English, University of Jos, Nigeria, after completing his PhD at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, which focused on language attitudes and implications for English as a second language in the language learning and language planning contexts. He then completed his post-doctoral research in bilingualism and language contact at the Institute of Linguistics at J.W. Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany. His current research and teaching interests include language education, future developments for teacher training, effective teaching and learning practices and strategies in both the face-to-face and online classrooms.
